PP Sheet

What is polypropylene?

Polypropylene is abbreviated as PP. This is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline plastic composed only of hydrocarbons. The production is carried out by catalytic polymerization.
In its natural form, this plastic is white to milky cloudy due to crystallites, but there are also special nucleated types that are transparent. To date, transparent polypropylene has not been widely known.

Physical Properties of PP Solid Sheet

The most important properties of PP are relatively high temperature resistance and excellent chemical resistance. Polypropylene can be used at temperatures up to 110°C under continuous load, and can even reach 140°C in the short term.
In addition, polypropylene is characterized by long service life, good impact resistance and high surface hardness. Polypropylene also has an electrical insulating effect.
PP Solid Sheet is a solid sheet made of polypropylene. The board is very durable, clean and chemical resistant. These sheets are produced by co-extrusion of polypropylene plastic. The material is available in a variety of thicknesses and weights. It is especially suitable for reuse and recycling systems.
Application areas of PP Solid Sheet
Polypropylene sheets are suitable for a variety of applications such as the manufacture of parts or equipment for instrumentation and engineering or container construction in the chemical industry.
